My girlfriend and I are going back to Disney in January...last year we ended up going to Rainforest cafe, Planet Hollywood, Sci-Fi Dine In Theater, and Tony's in Magic Kingdom...other than those restaurants what are some other ones that have good food?? Any opinions on San Angel Inn (Epcot) or Coral Reef restaurant? Thanks.Best restaurants to visit when going to Disneyworld?
Coral Reef is one of my favorites. The food is excellent and the fact that you are sitting in front of one of the largest aqariums in the world makes the experience that much better. The last time we were there a shark was hanging out near the glass by our table, it was the coolest thing! Be prepared however because it is expensive.
There are a bunch of other restaurants that are really good as well. Fulton's Crab House in Downtown Disney is tops. If you like seafood and don't want to go to Coral Reef, try Fulton's. It is also pricey, but well worth it. The staff was courteous and friendly, and the food was to die for. Also on our list of fav's is Chef Mickey's in the Contemporary. If you want to do a character meal, this is the best. The food is average to above average, however Mickey and the gang take turns coming directly to your table. Le Cellier steakhouse in Canada is also good, along with the restaurants in Japan and Germany. In MGM try the 50's Prime Time cafe. It is just like eating in a kitchen in the late 50's complete with "Mom" barking at you to eat your veggies. My wife didn't eat hers last time, so the waitress brought them out hidden under whip cream and sprinkles as a dessert!
For a quick casual place to eat Casey's Corner is a family favorite in the Magic Kingdom, as is the Columbia Harbour House and El Pirata Y El Perico. Each has quick service and the food was reasonable.
If you need more info, I would recommend checking out the disboards. The disboards is a message board website that is all about going to Disney. You can get resort reviews, reviews on each restaurant, trip reports, tips for avoiding crowds and much more from people who go often and know what they are talking about. I put the link below.
Hope this helps, have a great trip!!Best restaurants to visit when going to Disneyworld?
My favorites are Boma's buffet at Animal Kingdom Resort and Ohana's at Polynesian Resort. I like those two restaurants for both breakfast and dinner!
Coral Reef at EPCOT is one of my favorites! It is a bit pricey, but you can save yourself some money by dining there for lunch instead of dinner. I didn't care for the San Angel restaurant, but I'm picky about my Mexican food.
You must, must, must try Boma-Flavors of Africa! It is my favorite WDW Restaurant and a treat for folks who love creative cuisine and trying new things. It is an all-you-can eat buffet located inside the Animal Kingdom Lodge. Make a reservation for dinner. They offer foods from Africa, Egypt and other Pacific Rim Countries. The food is in short, amazing! Their desserts are fantastic too. My favorite menu items include the fu-fu (tastes like pumpkin pie), silantro lime vinagrette for the salads, the seafood gumbo, and the zebra cakes and chocolate mousse for dessert. They have American fare for picky eaters and kids as well which includes Prime Rib, mac n cheese, chicken fingers, etc... Just a fun atmosphere and some of the best food you'll ever have- truly unique.
Other great places to try include:
Cape May Cafe - Disney's Beach Club Resort
Ohana - Disney's Polynesian Resort
Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show - Disney's Poly Resort
Biergarten Restaurant - EPCOT
Nine Dragons - EPCOT
Mama Melrose's - Disney-MGM Studios

The restaurants in Italy and Mexico are very good. I would also recommend O'Hanas at the Polynesian, and Spoodles on the Boardwalk.
I love California Grill - great food and if you go at the right time they dim the lights and you can have an amazing view of the fireworks over the castle!Best restaurants to visit when going to Disneyworld?
The Cuban place at Downtown Disney was Awesome! (I think it is owned by Gloria Estafan)
O'Hana at the Polynesian Resort is excellent. You don't have to stay there to eat there and it's a quick ride from the Magic Kingdom on the monorail.
At Epcot, I also like Alfredo's at the Italy Pavilion.
I've never been to the Coral Reef. But what I hear from others is that the surroundings are good, but the food not so much.
At Epcot, the world showcase has good restuarants from around the world. I like the Morrocan and my wife really likees the French restaurant.
My favorite is the California Grill on the top floor of the Contemporary Hotel. The best time to eat there is during the Wishes Fireworks Show where you can get a bird's eye view of the show and they play its music in the restaurant. But if you finished early, you can head out on to the catwalk adjacent to the restaurant. You definitely need to make reservations well in advance for this restaurant and it is a bit pricey. I recommend the sushi and my boyfriend- the tenderloin. :)
Here is a website to let you know all the menus at the park:

They are both great restaurants!! San Angel give you a view of the MAYAN period and has an great atmosphere!! The food however can be pretty spicy....but good. Coral Reef has a nice atmosphere..but not as good as San Angel...the food however..is SOOO GOOOD!!
Many people say the best place is Le Cellier steakhouse in Epcot's Canada Pavillion.
We're going for our first time in December and we have the dining plan. I've made reservations for the following restaurants based on reviews and recommendations:
O'hana @ Polynesian Resort
Le Cellier @ Epcot Canada Pavillion
50's Primetime Cafe @ MGM
Coral Reef (but more for the atmosphere than the food.)
Grand Floridian Cafe
Mama Melrose's (mainly for the Fantasmic dinner package.)
