There is a small strip mall almost next to PH. There is a McD in the end store. And it is true it is not the cleanest McD you will ever see. Up the ways is a Walgreens and CVS ... they sell beer there. Is there any McDonald's on the Las Vegas strip?? I am staying at the Planet Hollywood.?
Many McD on the strip. Many inside of casinos. Close to PH would be North on the strip in O'Shea's. I also believe that Excalibur has fast food.
The McD's by the old Stardust went up in dust. There is one south of Hawaii Village S. of PH.
Why go all of the way to LV for McD's? The prices are MUCH higher on the strip compared to where you live. If you look for coupons and ask for coupon books when signing up for player's cards you some time receive BOGO coupons.
And the next IMPORTANT question...booze. As everyone has stated, the liquor stores on the strip are expensive. If you are not renting a car from PH go north to the corner of the strip and Flamingo . Flamingo is at the corner where Bally's and Bill's are. Walk East(right) about a block to Aubrie or Audrie. Not for sure of the correct spelling/name. There is a little place the advertises as a casino but is nothing more than a convenience store with a small room with slots and vp.
If you jump on the CAT bus and go north a couple miles there is a strip mall on the left at a major intersection (I believe a place that advertises as the "WORLD'S LARGEST GIFT/SOUVENIR" store is in the strip), there is a liquor store there. Much larger.
The liquor store in the PH shopping, by the Carnival Court(Harrah's) or in IP is VERY VERY expensive. A 12 pack of MGD was $15.
If nothing else, order from Albertson's grocery store on line and set up a delivery. The delivery charge is about $10 for the complete order at the grocery store prices. Yes they have hard stuff. We order from them when we stay a week at the Polo Towers.
Beer %26amp; Liquor are VERY expensive on the strip.
But on the bright side - it seemed like one can buy beer darn near 24/7. So take the good with the bad.
As far as fast food - some of the hotels actually have fast food joints inside of them. My hotel last week had a Pizza Hut. Perfect for those late night munchies after a day of drinking and gambling away the kids' college funds..........................

Yep there are a few and even some in the Casino's. I know there is a regular one down near Circus Circus south of Slot-a-fun. Just watch for those little golden arches on the outside of Casino's. Their was one inside Barbary coast oh yeah, I know there is also one inside Circus Circus, its up in the game area.
There is one just up from planet hollywood going in the direction of MGM also next to it there are places that sell beer be warned tho it is the nastiest mcdonalds i have been too. You'll see bars everywhere if you want a drink, or just go to like a 7-11. There's a McDonald about a block from MGM, which is pretty close to Planet Hollywood.

PLanet Hollywood is a great place to stay. You can get beer on site or just up the street. Have a good time

Cosmopolitan vs. Planet Hollywood Towers in Las Vegas?

The Cosmo is one of the most unbelievable places I have seen in my entire life. The architecture and the atmosphere was insanely awesome. It cost $3.9 billion dollars to build. Celebrities from LA go there for there vacations to hang by the pool. So I would strongly recommend the Cosmo.Cosmopolitan vs. Planet Hollywood Towers in Las Vegas?
The only thing on your list that PH doesn't really offer is a good pool. It has a pool, and the pool is okay, but it's not great. Otherwise, I think you'll be quite happy at PH. It attracts a young crowd, has some good places to party, and is in a good location on the strip. The prices are usually very good, and there is no resort fee at PH.
I also like Caesars and Venetian/Palazzo. They both have a lot going on in and around them, and the rooms are very nice (Venetian/Palazzo rooms are all suites). They have some of the best clubs on the strip as well. They are a bit more expensive than PH. I have a wedding in May 2008 there as well! We did the top package with the reception in the panorama suite. The suite seems to be really large. If you get any answers I would love to hear more. We looked at a lot of the different chapels and compared them all. It seems to be the best hotel chapel for all that they give you, plus the chapel is brand new.
