Will be in Vegas late august with some friends. we plan to do a lot and are only intown for 3 days. while coming from the airport we want to stop by a liqour store to pick up some hard liquors and some mix. where are the closest locations are from the airport to planet hollywood. an approx address or link to the stores location would be great.Where are the liquor stores?
There is one liquor store that I go to on every trip. It's near the Hard Rock as a point of reference. But every cab or limo driver knows it and when I say I need to go the the liquor store they all go to the same one and minutes from all the hotels on or near the Strip (i.e Planet Hollywood). I think it is called Strip Liquors.

I need help choosing a hotel in Las Vegas.?
I need help making my mind up where I want to stay when I go to Las Vegas this summer my choices are Aria,Venetian,Planet Hollywood. Thanks for the help.I need help choosing a hotel in Las Vegas.?
It's a little hard to advise without knowing your age, what you are looking for, etc.
I will say that Venetian is one of my favorite hotels. It's got a great location near the center of the strip, and all the rooms are suites. There are some great shows and restaurants in and around Venetian, and also good shopping. There is also a great club there - Tao.
But Aria is brand new and beautiful, so it might be worth checking out. Planet Hollywood is pretty nice, and is a good party hotel with a young crowd, probably the best on the strip. The other big party places - Hard Rock and Palms - are both off strip.I need help choosing a hotel in Las Vegas.?

The Aria is modern day marvel. Their rooms are Smart rooms. That means that the room programs to fit your need while you're their. It actually talks to you! lol
The Venetian is one of the more luxurious hotels on the Las Vegas Strip. Its become a popular destination for many and is perfect for a couples vacation.
Planet Hollywood really caters to a younger crowd. Especially in the Summertime when thier awesome pool area opens up. The parties they have are not to miss!

It has the V Theatre, a 150-shop shopping mall and 70 restaurants, and of course a huge casino. I don't think it is important where you stay because you will be eating out (whether it's in your hotel or another) and will be wandering in and out of hotels just to have a look at the magnificence of them all! But, the Planet Hollywood is convenient as it is right in the middle of the Strip. We also had a room with a view of the Bellagio fountains - brilliant.
Save your legs and take the Deuce bus or the Ace bus which go backwards and forwards up and down the Strip all day. They even take you all the way to Fremont Street (another "must do"). $3 for 2 hours, or $7 for 24 hours. Ticket machines are at each stop.
Get discounted show/tour tickets at the Tix4tonight booths up and down the Strip.

How to get Comps?
Im planning on staying at the Planet Hollywood and im just wondering how much you have to spend in the casino or how long you have to play in order to get comps.

I'm a dealer in a casino.
First off, you need to get "rated" which means you need to apply for (if you don't already have one) the casino's "player's card". They go by different names but basically it's a free card that puts you in their database and allows you to quality for comps. Sometimes they'll make up these cards for you right at the table, but more likely you go to a center or booth on the gaming floor and provide valid ID and they issue you a card.
For table play (blackjack, etc.):
Most casinos rate your play based on one or all of the following:
1. average bet;
2. your buy-ins (how much money you're forking over);
3. your play time (amount of time at the table).
Each casino is different as far as how much of the above they required, but that is what they base your credits/points on.
If you're a slot player, you'll probably earn your points/comps faster. As slot play generates the majority of the money that a casino makes, the casino usually is more generous with these comps. Just remember to insert your card everytime you're at a machine.

Spend lots and lots of money to get a very small token especially on the strip. Locals get better comps at casinos well off the strip geared for locals. Amazing what we get for just a little play. On the strip you can spends thousands and maybe get a key chain or something. Anyone can loose ... the town was built from loosers money ... it's the ones that win are the ones they want back.
ON any of the nicer STrip hotels they will not rat you at the tables if you are playing less than $25 per hand though they may have changed that as its slowing a bit, I think at MGM 4 hours at $25 got you a meal ts notlike the good old days where $10 a hand for 2 hours a day paid your room if you were clever. Idont know anything about the PH slot club I am afraid and you will only be able to use your comps against your room if you have booked it direct i.e. not through Experdia, price line etc.
The MGM Players club will give you somthing like 1c for every $1 played you can use this in multiples of $5 as bonus slot play not as comps.
Rule number 1 do not change your play either time, stake or game to get comps this is what the casino wants you do, remeber they only comp a percnetage of what you should lose.

Edit: As per annual salaries, the highest paid CEO, on Forbes, is $84M per year. One actor, for example Will Smith, makes $100M per year. No CEOs make "billions" although if they invest and use their money wisely, I'm sure they can become that way. Just as those in Hollywood do.

I rarely feel cheated after a movie I want to see and movies are one of the few exports that the United States has to offer these days. As far as sports stars go, have you ever played sports? Do you realize how difficult it is to become one of the few that are actually good enough to play professional sports? You're not born with the big contract - it's a lifetime of dedication and hard work.

I already do protest by never going to a movie, concert or watching TV. I have never been to a ball game other than the ones my children participate in. The difference is that much of the money the CEOs make, is made by the sales of goods and merchandise that are really needed to survive. I buy very little of that stuff and prefer to be self sufficient. My car is 20 years old and still running really well. Advertising does not make me wish to outdo the Jones people next door.

Prohibit lobbyist "contributions" to candidates' campaigns and make all contributions go through a blind trust, managed by the FEC to eliminate corruption and influence peddling.

Edit: As per annual salaries, the highest paid CEO, on Forbes, is $84M per year. One actor, for example Will Smith, makes $100M per year. No CEOs make "billions" although if they invest and use their money wisely, I'm sure they can become that way. Just as those in Hollywood do.

I rarely feel cheated after a movie I want to see and movies are one of the few exports that the United States has to offer these days. As far as sports stars go, have you ever played sports? Do you realize how difficult it is to become one of the few that are actually good enough to play professional sports? You're not born with the big contract - it's a lifetime of dedication and hard work.
Haven't had to bail out the entertainment industry now have we?!
I already do protest by never going to a movie, concert or watching TV. I have never been to a ball game other than the ones my children participate in. The difference is that much of the money the CEOs make, is made by the sales of goods and merchandise that are really needed to survive. I buy very little of that stuff and prefer to be self sufficient. My car is 20 years old and still running really well. Advertising does not make me wish to outdo the Jones people next door.
