Any comments or feedback from people who have stayed at Hotel Planet Hollywood?

Just wanted some info or feedback from people who have stayed at this hotel since I will probably book a hotel room at PH

Stayed 2 nights last year.

Room was fine but the trek to get there was horrifying.

It was still called the Aladdin at the time but pretty much the same.

I really do not like to cart all my stuff thru a busy casino to get to my room.

Again.......... the room and the view were enjoyable but I personally would not stay there again.Any comments or feedback from people who have stayed at Hotel Planet Hollywood?
I LOVED the Aladdin! I was there when it was the Aladdin and also again during the switch to Planet Hollywood; most of what they were changing had to do with appearance so the rooms pretty much stayed the same. The rooms are spacious, large bathroom with deep soaking tub (my favorite!), and overall very friendly hotel staff. It is close to many other attractions and is across the street from the Bellagio fountains so if you are lucky you can get a room with that view! There is a mall right downstairs adjacent to the casino which I found fun and catered to my shopping needs (there is an ABC store that stays open till 2am so if you need your last snack, souvenir, or alcohol run, they are right downstairs!) and also had a few restaurants. I hear they have expanded the mall for PH hotel but haven't been there yet. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone!
