Hi,I am leaving to Las Vegas next week and I was wondering If the planet hollywodd area of Las Vegas is dangerous.Well be walking to MGM etc and stuff like that.Is it dangerous?Is planet hollywood a dangerous place to stay in las vegas
OMG no way. That is one of the safest areas because it is right in the middle of the strip. The strip is very safe at all times. You can walk in confidence that everything will be safe. Have fun and enjoy yourself. Is planet hollywood a dangerous place to stay in las vegas
That is a very safe area. Nothing will happen to you while walking on the busy parts of the strip. It is an easy walk from Planet Hollywood to MGM Grand, and you could also walk all the way down to Treasure Island in the other direction without being bothered.



Don't worry- the Vegas Strip isn't dangerous.
Las Vegas is not a dangerous city. Violent Crime and Property Crime rates are about average for an American city.

Like any other city, you need to be wary of pick-pockets. Keep your money in a safe spot -- front hip pocket is usually best.



You also need to deal with people trying to hand you "literature" or sell you a timeshare, but you can pretty well ignore them.



Aside from that, there will be a million people on the streets at every hour of the day, and police officers patrolling on bicycle. It's one of the safest places around.
Watch out for pickpocketers! And open holed smelly sewers.



Always an oopsie from a tipsy tourist. Stepping on/off curbs. Their 2nd trip of the vacation! hahahahhhaha! Or they are wasted on not enough sleep.



An the occasional drunk driver on drugs or so. Driving up onto the sidewalk with crowded tourists.

there is a shopping center between there and the mgm, it has a mcdonalds a liquor store and some crappy souvenir shops. its right next to walgreens. just dont go in those shops late night and youll be fine.
NO!!! There's tons of people so someone would notice. We walked up and down the strip everyday from Excaliber to the Wynn! Have fun! :)
All the big casinos are safe.
