Planet Hollywood v/s The Mirage Which one is better?

I am in the process of make New Years accomodations for three couples including myself. Four of the six people have been and we stayed at Planet Hollywood, in which we all like it. But I am wondering with the going rate at Mirage will it give us a better stay? The rooms selections will be a Resort Vista room at Planet Hollywood or the Tower Deluxe room at The Mirage. The rooms are all really awesome, and stylish, the Miracle Mile shops are great, the shows there are worldclass! Overall the hotel really rocks! I have stayed at both (though PH was Aladdin when i was last there) and MIrage wins hands down, nicer hotel, better service great pool (not that you will use that) better rooms, nicer food (though the buffets are on a par). No doubt, the Mirage is much nicer...it is more upscale and modern than Planet Hollywood.
