In the Miracle Mile there is a restaurant called Cheeseburger, the breakfast is way cheaper than the Planet Dailies and is just as good for a breakfast, I didn't try their lunch menu but my friends did and loved it too. I'd recommend Early of Sandwich for a brilliant deal as well.
I'd recommend drinking at Halo bar their 2 4 1s are great will save you a fortune.
If you want a melt in the mouth steak then Smith and Wollenskys which is across the road but heading towards New York New York.
