People who have stayed at Planet Hollywood?

My girlfriend and I are staying at Planet Hollywood next week. Anybody have an opinion on the place? I've read mixed reviews. Also does anybody recommend any casinos with a good omaha game?People who have stayed at Planet Hollywood?

I stayed at PH and the remodel completely surprised me. The hotel was great and the rooms were nice with a HUGE bathroom. And trust me, anything on the strip will be worth whatever they ae charging you, the companies work to make sure it is. And if it isn't complain and demand an upgrade or something free!People who have stayed at Planet Hollywood?
Here's the truth. The casino and the front entrance are being remodeled. The rooms haven't been touched since it was the Aladdin.

If you got a good deal it's worth it because of it's great location, but it's Vegas how much time are you spending in a room.

As far as the rooms go, they're ok, but crappy for Vegas standards. So if you're just looking for a good place to sleep you'll be ok. Don't expect great amenities, their pool is pretty crappy, but they're in the middle of a transition from Aladdin to Planet Hollywood so it's going to take some time to get all the problems fixed.



Don't forget you can always cross the street and go to Bellagio!

Actually the casino remodel is DONE. and they are STARTING on the room renovations, as well as the mall. The new casino is beautiful, no question, and rooms are pretty good for the price- be sure to POLITELY ask if there are any upgrades available when you check in (don't throw a fit if they say no- they will hook you up if they can). yes the exterior remodel is still going on, and the condo towers are going up on the property, I hear there have been complaints about noise. Overall, a very nice hotel, but not top-of-the-line.
