MGM Grand or Planet Hollywood?

We stayed in the MGM last year, and were very happy with the hotel. Is Planet Hollywood comparable? Which would you choose?MGM Grand or Planet Hollywood?

I've seen the Planet Hollywood rooms and they are extremely nice. I would say they are nicer than the standard rooms at the MGM Grand.

-That said, MGM Grand has special rooms (in "The Loft" or the "Signature Suites") that are pretty sweet (but pricy). Also the MGM has renovated some of their towers with new beds and new TV's.

-Planet Hollywood is not discounting their rooms because of the economic crash. They are giving away more free stuff.MGM Grand or Planet Hollywood?
I stayed at PH when it was Aladdin and have stayed many times at MGM. The bathrooms ate PH are better than MGM but to me is it, the pool is poor at PH and the rooms small and the windows even smaller. MGM for meMGM Grand or Planet Hollywood?

No choice. MGM which is huge and across the street from Tropicana on one corner, Excalibur %26amp; Luxor %26amp; Mandalay Bay on another, and NYNY %26amp; Monte Carlo on the other. PH is small and not the easy access of other casinos like MGM.
