Planet hollywood at disney world? is it a fun place to go?

Goin disney world and im wondering is planet hollywood a fun restuarnt to go too in downtown disney were all in are late teens early 20s think that be a cool place to go to have fun? Is the food good? What other restuarants or places would be fun for us to go down there including city walk cause were goin to universal also?

I had a blast at Planet Hollywood in Orlando, I've been to several and it's my favorite out of the ones I've been too. I've always had their burger and fries, it's not the best food I've eaten, but it's still good, and besides that people go for the atmosphere, not the food.



There is a Hard Rock Cafe at Universal Studios CityWalk. I have not eaten at that one, but it looks awesome from the outside, and I have been to one in another city that I had fun at. Again, it's all about atmosphere.



Rainforest Cafe is another one of those atmosphere places. It's really cool inside. The food is not tops, but my only other complaint was that the lighting where we sat was a little too dim, making it hard to even read the menu.



There are several dinner shows in Orlando such as Medieval Times, Dixie Stampede and Sleuthes, Capone's, and I think there is a pirate one and an arabian one. Also I saw an ad in my hotel about a mystery dinner theather that was interactive and seemed interesting. Out of all of these the only one I've been to is Medieval Times and it was very fun, the food was great. It was an interesting experience.



Aside from Downtown Disney, many of the Disney parks and hotels have interesting dining experiences, shows and cool-themed restaurants. There are way too many to list here, but if you check out the Disney World website you can see them all there.



Sea World also has many fun dining experiences, like the Makahiki Luau, Sharks Underwater Grill (you can only get reservations for here at the restaurant when the park opens--I would recommend going straight there as soon as you get in because they fill up their day quick), and the buffet-style Dine With Shamu, where you get to sit right next to the killer whale pool and watch the trainers interact with Shamu. You also get to talk to the trainers about their jobs and about the whales, a very unique and unforgettable experience.



There is really an endless array of awesome restaurants in Orlando, but that gives you a pretty good idea of the major touristy ones. Have fun planning your trip!! :)Planet hollywood at disney world? is it a fun place to go?

Planet Hollywood's hamburgers are good!

But any place in disney world to eat is good.Disney World's food is much better than universals.Downtown disney has a variaty of food to eat.It depeids on your personality.But if you want to go to a club then go to citywalk.Downtown disney's Pleasure Island (club) closed recently.

Eat at bubba gump in citywalk, now thats good!

I went when I was about 15 and it was actually awesome. Tons of old movie props and pictures, footprints in cement and signatures. Just tons of stuff to look at. Great music. We had burgers and fries that were decent enough. Not spectacular by any means. The atmosphere itself was the best part.
The food isn't that great but it has a really nice setting.
