My husband and I are staying there in October. After looking at pictures online it doesn't look like the most user friendly hotel. We are staying at the Towers Westgate. Online it said it was right on the strip...but after looking into it more, its not. How far is it off of the strip...and is it safe to walk at night?? Also, do we have to use the mall doors to get to our hotel??...but they close at midnight. Please help I am second guessing our choice.Planet Hollywood Las Vegas?
Westgate Towers are just off the strip, but they are part of the same complex as Planet Hollywood and Miracle Miles. It's only a few minutes walk at the most to the Strip, so you really don't have to worry.
The quickest way from the Casino to the Westgate Towers is through the Miracle Mile Shops, so yes, you will be going through the mall often. There is also a separate entrance to hotel on Harmon, so that is your other option.Planet Hollywood Las Vegas?
It is right on the strip. Its just not in the "heart" of the strip. Maybe a 10-15 min walk from there.
But the location is still great, and its a very nice place. I am a big pool person, and I did not particularly like the pool there though.

Don't worry - you'll be fine.
PH is a nice hotel and you do not have to use the Miracle Mile doors to get to the hotel, although you can.
