What is the best family hotel in Vegas?

Were going on a trip to Vegas with a little girl. I know vegas isn't exactly the best place for young ones, but does anyone have any ideas on the nice family hotels with a nice pool and in a good area. I was looking at the hard rock, planet hollywood and MGM Grand. Any ideas? ThanksWhat is the best family hotel in Vegas?
MGM Grand is the best choice of the hotels you're looking at, although its gargantuan size can be tiring for kids and the pools can be super-crowded. Forget the Hard Rock or Planet Hollywood.

Circus Circus and Excalibur are often mentioned as the Strip's most family-friendly hotels, and they're certainly cheap. But the pools aren't huge and Circus Circus is remote from the rest of the Strip. Excalibur has a convenient location, catty-corner from the MGM Grand.

Alternatively, think outside the box and pick Mandalay Bay. Although it's at the south end of the Strip, a bit removed from the action, it has an awesome pool complex and it's a nice midrange hotel. (If you want more luxurious accommodations, stay at the Four Seasons boutique hotel inside M-Bay.) The Monte Carlo, next to CityCenter, is also a nicer hotel with a big, semi-shady pool area.

If you want to stay off the Strip, Red Rock Resort (way out in suburban Summerlin) is fun for kids. To save money and be closer to the Strip, consider the Orleans (a reliable cheapie).

Circus Circus is the best by far, they have a circus and midway INSIDE the hotel for pete's sake! It is near the end of the strip but the Duce (the bus) will send you down the strip for $7 for 24 hrs (or if you have a little more money, 5 or less can cab it, 6 or more have to 2 cab or limo).

The other end of the strip has The Excalibur that also has midway games and is a lot of fun, slightly more expensive but still very affordable (cheap even) and clean.

MGM might be a good place to stay if you stay in one of the condos, it will save you some money on food for sure by having a kitchenette right in your room. The thing is it's quite the hike to the pool. Excalibur is right across the street though for entertainment.

And there's tons of family-friendly stuff to do in Vegas!!
Defiantly Circus Circus and during the summer months it is a little as $27.00 a night plus book 3 nights get one free.

They have Adventuredome (amusement park)

World Class circus acts and a Midway with Nickelodeon characters

Vegas is a steal right now.

They even have Dora's 3-D adventureWhat is the best family hotel in Vegas?
MGM Grand is the best from your list IMO. It has a great pool area and the location is also fine I think. You can also get good room rates if you book your room with a promotion code, on http://www.vegas-hotels-online.com/categ鈥?/a> you will find the latest MGM Grand codes.
Circus Circus. Las Vegas really isn't the place for young kids though. I'd go elsewhere where you and your family will enjoy themselves. If you do decide to go I'm sure you'll plan another trip without your daughter and will regret the money spent. What is the best family hotel in Vegas?
Forget Hard Rock, that is not for kids in any way shape or form. Planet Hollywood appeals to a 20 something crowd. MGM Grand would be the best bet of the three you listed.
