What are table minimums in Las Vegas?

I'm going to Vegas for the first time this weekend (staying at Planet Hollywood), and I was wondering what the table minimums are for blackjack and Texas Hold'em tables. I've been playing poker for a while now, but only online and with friends. Is there a certain etiquette about tables in Vegas or are there unwritten rules about things like this?

I don't really have a big budget and I'm not looking to go crazy gambling, but I do want to do some. Any advice would be appreciated. What are table minimums in Las Vegas?
During the week the table minimums will be $10 and at night and on the weekends they will be $15. You can gamble cheaply at O'Sheas though if you are looking for the cheapest limits.

To save some money while you are there check out http://lasvegasforcheap.com/deals - They have great Vegas tips, deals, and advice.

Most poker rooms in Vegas offer 2 4 limit and 1 2 no limit games and for starting out I would suggest that.

Planet Hollywood's poker area is ok, but I would suggest MGM or Aria because they always have lots of tables going and usually a few fish.

Blackjack Etiquette:

1. Follow standard rules of blackjack even if its the last of your money (people will get mad if you don't)

2. Place money on the table (dealer cannot accept money from your hand

3. Tip the dealer at least a little bit even if you lose

Poker Etiquette:

1. Don't fold your cards face up (unless you are the last to fold)

2. Don't act out of turn

3. Do not leave for more than 2 rounds around the table

4. Cover your cards with a chip or a weight so they won't be mucked accidentally

5. Don't ask to see players cards when they muck (they usually get mad)What are table minimums in Las Vegas?
I actually just got back from my first vegas trip and was wondering the same thing going out. I'm an avid online poker player and actually host my own tips and strategy website at http://bestbonuspokersites.com but never played at a casino before vegas. We stayed at the Luxor hotel and let me tell you, it is absolutely amazing. As far as the table games go, ask questions. We asked tons and everyone was very helpful. They will go over verbal and silent betting procedures, as well as various betting practices and everything with you. Best part is that vegas never sleeps so you can go when the casino is a little slower (mid-early a.m. about 3 - 6 a.m.) first time til you get the hang of it and come back at peak hours and impress everyone with your confidence. Be sure to read my tips about playing at brick and mortar tables (real casino vs. online) or pick up a strategy guide from my store. Good luck and hope to hear of your tales, but then again, what happens in vegas stays in vegas!!!
Depends on where you are playing. The big places (Venetian, Bellagio, Aria, MGM, etc)occasionally have $10 minimums on blackjack and craps, but there are usually $15-$20. Hold em poker tables will start at $1-2 blinds and go up.

Smaller places will have cheaper tables and can be just as fun, but they are usually filled with vagrants and what not, still fun if you get liquored upWhat are table minimums in Las Vegas?
Forget playing blackjack at Planet Hollywood. The minimums start at $10, but are usually higher. And it's the dreaded 6:5. I like to play blackjack downtown. El Cortez is great for blackjack and you can sometimes find $3 minimums. And it's still 3:2.

Sorry, can't help you with poker as I don't play it. But again, I would look downtown as opposed to the strip.
Depends on the casino. Different casinos has different table limits. But mostly casinos offers $10-$20. Some ask for more like 50 also. So it depends on the casino you are going to. For the table limit of online casinos you can check out the link at the footnote. What are table minimums in Las Vegas?
The minimum is usually $5 or $10 in the day and $10 up at night. But the buy-in varies.
