2 of us going. Both males 21 years old. First time in Vegas, want it all really. Partying and casinos. The propre vegas experience. Shortlisted to Bellagio/Palms/Mirage/Planet Hollywood. Budget doesnt matter.I do not know what hotel to stay in when I'm in Las Vegas and its very annoying now. Pick for me please?

I vote for Planet Hollywood. I just visited PH, Bellagio and Mirage today. Bellagio struck me as an old tired version of Encore and Wynn, not worth their high price. I was disappointed today as Bellagio struck me as an upscale luxury property on my previous visits. That has worn off. Mirage is a step or two below Bellagio. (Steve Wynn built both properties and it's interesting to see the progression in attention to detail and the level of luxury from his oldest projects to his newest.) Palms is similar to Mirage in atmosphere, a bit brighter and more of a party atmosphere, but being off the strip is an annoyance. PH is center strip and an easy walk to MGM, Paris, Ballys, the busy Flamingo block, Bellagio and Caesars Palace. Their Miracle Mile is a nice updated shopping mall to walk around and window shop or drop loads of cash. And they always have classic rock blasting. You'll also like their Passion Pit which is kind of a strip club in the center of the casino.
Palms is the best party hotel of those listed, but it's not on the strip and isn't really walking distance either. You could go over to Rio and take the shuttle from there to the strip, or you could take a taxi.



Bellagio is beautiful and a really nice place, but not really a party hotel. It's very classy and upscale.



Planet Hollywood is a very fun place with a great location on the strip. There are lots of things to get into in and around there.



Mirage has an even better location, and a great nightclub (JET). It's also right next to Caesars, which has Pure nightclub, and Venetian, which has Tao nightclub. Those are probably the 2 biggest clubs on the strip.



It's a hard decision. I would want to be on the strip for the best Vegas experience. There is so much to do there, and it's nice to be in the middle of it all. ANd I think you'd prefer a fun hotel rather than a more upscale one.

i live here, and work here....so i feel very qualified to answer this question. first, i have NEVER understood the appeal of the palms. it's small, and not on the strip. which means, you will miss all that exciting action from walking the strip to stumbling into your hotel. bellagio is not a young person's spot. cross that off your list. i'm not familiar with planet hollywood, but the mirage is truly like stepping into a hawaiian oasis in the middle of the desert. i think that would be your best bet. the rooms are swank, but could definately hold up to 2 party boys standards (think of a fantasy island room here--family stays here) and you are in the center of the strip. all the action truly happens right outside the mirage doors (the volcano anyone?). and if you have ever seen vegas vacation, well, this is the hotel. when i was your age, this was the place that i always hung. you can walk the strip, see the activities, and literally be back at your hotel in no time. i hope you would consider the mirage...you will not be disappointed!! hope this helped. have fun!!
If budget is no issue, I would choose the Bellagio from your list. It's a a great location and a higher class hotel. Though really you shouldn't plan to spend a lot of time in your room, so my personal choice would be Planet Hollywood as it's a great location (across from Bellagio), a good price yet they still have good rooms. Planet Hollywood is in a great position on the centre strip ( as is Bellagio) but is better value. It has a great buffet breakfast with everything you could possibly want, plenty of bars and places to eat and it's own shopping mall. Casino is good with free lessons in the morning if you want to learn craps or whtever. Plenty of free drinks when you're gambling. Rooms are really spacious too. Bellagio is great too but more pricey.
Hmm ... out of Bellagio, Palms, Mirage, %26amp; Planet Hollywood...



Stayed at all of those except Bellagio. PH has a young crowd and recently updated in the last 2 years. Mirage is centrally located and has a nice pool. Palms is off the strip and has a cool rooftop club.



For you, I'd say Planet Hollywood. It's also right across from the new Aria casino.
I've only stayed at one hotel/casino in Vegas and thats the New York New York. At the New York New York its an endless amount of fun! They have a 200 ft roller coaster that goes about 70mph and it has a lot of resturants. The New York New York is not fancy like Mandalay Bay or the Wynn but it is very reasonably priced and is alot of fun





On the other hand there is Mandalay Bay-



Mandalay Bay is very high class and fancy and isn't very kid friendly. They have a shark exhibit and the casino is nothing but fresh air and does not smell like smoke at all. Mandalay Bay is very high class and up tight so when you go to mandalay bay expect to pay about 100 dollars a night for a reasonable room.





The Luxor- The Luxor is very kid friends has a vending machine with ipods in it! I think thats really cool.

The Luxor has a titanic exhibit! I found that very interesting.



Overall I think that the New York New York is kid friendly and it is great for gambling etc. It has a great spa so if you go there be ready to get pampered big time! The pool is fabolous, they have cabanas, 2 jaccuzzis and it is a very fun hotel

Mickey take it from me that's been to vegas over 20 times!! If your on the strip go with Planet Hollywood or the MGM Grand. If your out the strip go with Hard Rock then the Palms casino, why because all 4 location have hot girls your age from 21-35. Bellagio is more of the 30 and up class and its caters more to the older crowd! Go with PH you will love it!!

Being 21 and your first time in Las Vegas. Even though it is not walking distance to the Las Vegas Strip. The Palms has the Rain nightclub it is a great place to party. I would choose the Palms Las Vegas Hotel.

But at 21 if you want to meet hot ladies, Palms. Just off the major street, you will need a car or cabs to get to the resort corridor.

Palms which is off the strip[strip not in walking distance /take cab]

Palazzo/Venetian on the strip-[middle of strip so can go either direction,good club]
No budget then the Bellagio the Palms is off the strip. Parking is really easy and the buffet is the best in Vegas!

Planet Hollywood is on the strip and quite happening, the Palms is great but not on the strip. The others are good but the 2 I've mentioned are more suited to 21yr olds
The Mirage is as pleasant as any of the rest and your right on the strip and middle of all the action
