Where to make reservations at Disneyworld for dining?

Im going to DW for my first time with my family.

I did cave in an bought the dining plan for the week we will be there.

Since we've never been there, we're a good place to eat?

I need to start making reservations now. Ive already made 2 reservations for House of Blues and Planet Hollywood.

Also, with the Quick service meal, wheres a good place to grab a quick meal?

thanksWhere to make reservations at Disneyworld for dining?
Ok, Might I point out that if you have dining reservations at Downtown Disney and you are at a theme park- it will take you an hour to get there and another hour to get back. Make reservations at the park you are going to be at the time you want to eat dinner to save precious time.

MK- Crystal Palace for a big breakfast, Tony's for lunch or dinner

HS- 50's Prime Time diner, and our favorite WDW restaurant Mama Melrose.

EPCOT- Coral Reef-the best for atmosphere- the whole wall is an aquarium was very cool.

In the Worlds

France, Mexico and Canada have the best reputations for dining.

Look at the site below for a list of all menus at WDW

personally I think the Sci Fi diner is the worst restaurant in WDW.

make sure planted hollywood and house of blues are included in the dining plan.Where to make reservations at Disneyworld for dining?
Here are some of our favorites:

Quick Service:

Any of the resort food courts are decent

Flame Tree BBQ in ANimal Kingdom

Pinocchio House (can't remember the exact name) in Magic Kingdom (Fantasy Land area)

Commissary in Hollywood Studios

**Honestly, almost any of them are good in my opinion...those are just a couple of favorites.**

Table Service

Crystal Palace - Magic Kingdom - Character Meal - Buffet

Garden Grill - The Land, Epcot - Character Meal - Family style

Spoodles - Boardwalk - Great menu; mediterranean style food

Boma - Animal Kingdom Lodge - African CUISINE - Buffet (excellent food! and if you have fussy eaters they do have the typical chicken fingers etc)

Sci-Fi Drive in - Hollywood Studios - nice; okay menu; atmosphere is a little dark and could scare sensitive small kids

50s Prime Time Cafe - Hollywood Studios - LOVE IT; atmosphere is fun; wait staff is good and fun and the food is excellent.

Luau at the Polynesian - EXCELLENT food; great dinner show. I think it takes two of your table service meals. It's worth it in my opinion, but it does take up a full evening.

Ohana - Polynesian - Character meal for breakfast only I believe - I've heard it's good.

Chef Mickey - Contemporary - character meal - I've not been there but have heard that it's good and it is on our list for the next trip.
From my last trip I really enjoyed:

Yak %26amp; Yeti in Animal Kingdom

50's Prime Time Cafe in Hollywood Studios

Coral Reef in EPCOT (This one basically has you sitting inside a giant aquarium)

Le Cellier Steakhouse in Canada in EPCOT

Narcoossee's at Grand Floridian resort (this takes 2 credits)

Kona Cafe at Polynesian resort

Also, don't forget about all the great restaurants at the other resorts. You aren't just limited to the parks.

For quick service in Animal Kingdom the Flame Tree Barbecue is really good. And in Downtown Disney both The Earl of Sandwich %26amp; Wolfgang Puck Express are good.

Be sure to make reservations early and enjoy!Where to make reservations at Disneyworld for dining?
Depends on what kind of food you like. I like the Sci Fi Dine in the best, the meal plan I think only works at Disney places, not Planet Hollywood or Rain Forest, but its been a number of years since I have worked there. The Pizza at the All Stars that they bring up to the rooms is SO good! Cinderella's Royal Table is neat, very nice to be in the castle but the food was so-so.

Here is a link to the menus to help you decide:

Hollywood %26amp; Vine at Hollywood studios is FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!!! All you can eat and they actually have healthy food (fab desserts....the mini pumpkin cheesecakes are to die for!) as well as the token bad faves. So good, we went twice in 7 days. If you can go for an early dinner/late lunch, you wont need a late meal. We went so we could get reserved seats at Fantasmic.

Tusker House at Animal Kingdom is brilliant too! My nephews loved it and my brother raves about it too.

One place to avoid though (unless you like that type of thing) is the restaurant at Epcot in Morocco....overpriced, small meals and a bit weird (minced beef in pastry parcels dusted with icing? Thought itd be okay but YUK!)Where to make reservations at Disneyworld for dining?
Hey, the House of Blues accepts the dining plan now? Last time I was there they did not, and I heard they have great food, so I was kinda bummed.

As far as other great dining places to eat, my favorites are:

TABLE-SERVICE:

Le Cellier (Epcot-Canada)

Chefs de France (Epcot-France)

Teppan Edo or Tokyo Dining (Epcot-Japan)

Biergarten (Epcot-Germany)

Crystal Palace (Magic Kingdom)

Mama Melrose (Hollywood Studios)

Tusker House (Animal Kingdom)

QUICK-SERVICE:

Flame Tree BBQ (Animal Kingdom)

Pizzafari (Animal Kingdom)

Yak 'n' Yeti counter service (Animal Kingdom)

Pecos Bill (Magic Kingdom)

Village Haus (Magic Kingdom)

Colombia Harbour House (Magic Kingdom)

Main Street Bakery (Magic Kingdom)

Studio Catering Co. (Hollywood Studios)

Catalina Eddie's (Hollywood Studios)

Yakitori House (Epcot-Japan)

Sunshine Seasons (Epcot-The Land)

Earl of Sandwich (Downtown Disney) ...hub's fave...all he talks about is the tuna melt.

Wolfgang Puck's Express (Downtown Disney)

...and.... you have GOT to go to Boulangerie Patisserie in Epcot's France...they have such wonderful desserts...I love their chocolate mousse! ...you can use your snack credits there.

BUT, all in all it really depends on your own individual taste buds...so, the very best way to decide where to eat is to look at the menus itself...here's a great website to help you out, plus you can take a look at the prices to get an idea of about how much tip will be at each of the table-service restaurants http://www.allears.net/menu/menus.htm

...Personally, I love the dining plan...I will always purchase the plan on every future visit to Disney. Have a great time, it is sooooo much fun...also, be sure to take advantage of the "Extra Magic Hours" http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/plan/ca鈥?/a> complimentary only to resort guests. ...and also use their free "fast pass" service http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/guest-s鈥?/a> ...this saves a lot of waiting time with the more popular attractions.
We've been to WDW 13 times.

Tomorrowland Terrace Noodle Station (Asian. Very good)

Quick Service:

Restaurantasaurus (McDonald's food)

Resorts:

Chef Mickey's-Contemporary (very popular. characters. good food. fun)

California Grill-Contemporary (fine dining. Overlooks Magic Kingdom. You can see Wishes here too)

O'Hana's-Polynesian (beautiful atmosphere. Delicious food. You can see %26amp; hear Wishes fireworks here on the evenings they have it, %26amp; also the electric light parade on the water. Fabulous!)

Boma's-Animal Kingdom Lodge (our favorite buffet. Fabulous food.

Nice atmosphere. Try their juice-very tasty)

Jiko's-Animal Kingdom Lodge (more for adults. Food can be on the spicy side. The walls change colors of the African sunset)

Whispering Canyon Cafe-Wilderness Lodge (best ribs. Tons of fun)

Cape May Cafe-Beach Club-You can walk here from Epcot exit by UK. (great seafood buffet. Lovely atmosphere)

If you are using Disney transportation %26amp; dining at a resort, allow extra time to get there, since you have to change buses at the Transportation %26amp; Ticket Center. Have Fun!
there are so many places there to eat and all styles. Why not call your hotel and ask what's near there (you don't want to spend a lot of time getting to where you want to eat). If you want formal say so, if you want something fun and different then ask them about that, also ask them the easiest way to get there. Maybe they have a shuttle and you can go places along that line.
