How to dress to Las Vegas shows?

I know there is no official dress code, but i like to dress up if i can at the same time i don't like to be the over-dressed one.



I will be attending the Lion-King Musical, (dinner included) at mandalay bay



and ALSO the variety show at Planet Hollywood

Most tourists in Vegas these days are dressing like absolute slobs. Wife-beaters and flip-flops :(
If you just wear something nice, you'll already stick out.
For a the Lion King, I would recommend something classy but comfortable. There will be lots of kids and families there, so no need for a cocktail dress.

I usually wear a sundress or a top and skirt or nice pants when I go to Vegas shows. But jeans are common as well. I've never seen anyone dressed up in formal wear for a show though.How to dress to Las Vegas shows?
I'd say dress as slutty as possible and have a good time.
