Hello All!! The wife and I are staying at Planet Hollywood oct 11th-16th. This is our first time in Vegas.....?

I am so clueless on what to do...how to do it...UGH!! Is there any fast food on the Strip...or do we have to pay loads and loads everytime we eat?? And does anyone know about the Titanic exhibit when and where?? Thanks so much!Hello All!! The wife and I are staying at Planet Hollywood oct 11th-16th. This is our first time in Vegas.....?
Welcome and relax.

Don't plan too much because there are a lot of distractions here.

Planet Hollywood is in the final stages of remodeling... It was the Aladdin. The rooms are the last to get made over.

From what I hear, they did a nice job on them as well. It is also nicely placed for location to other things.

Fast food? Yup... Down by the MGM is a food court, up by the flamingo is a McDonalds as well as each of the resorts haveing their own food court.

Titanic is in the process of moving to the Luxor. Bodies is already there. that is a MUST see !! Titanic is ok.

Check around for coupons and 1/2 off deals. Your room will have a magazine or two loaded with special offers.

Titanic may still be at Tropicana but the plans are to move it to Luxor very soon

You never have to gamble and though there is fast food you get great deals at the casino coffee shops/cafe and buffets.
Osheas next to Harrahs has several fast food restaurants. Inside the MGM there are several in their food court. Fashion Show Mall has a food court on the second floor. Eat at the 24 cafes in the casinos. They have the cheapest and good food. Stay away from the name restaurants.. little food for lots of money but it is good food. The Buffets on the strip are way over priced and the lower priced ones aren't that good. You would have to travel off the strip to the locals casinos to get good buffets at good prices. Do not use room service at any time. For snacks or even bottled water just go to Walgreens or CVS right there on the strip. You will get everything at a reasonable price even souvenirs.

If you want a nice dinner and a show go to the Tournament of Kings at the Excalibur. It is a dinner theater. You have to eat your meal with your hands, no utensils and the show is fantastic. All of that for about 50 bucks each. Most shows cost twice that with no food served.

Some advice is to eat a good breakfast and a late big lunch and skip dinner. Dinner prices are extremely high for the same dish as lunch. Just have a snack at a fast food restaurant for dinner.

Come and have a good time without spending a fortune.Hello All!! The wife and I are staying at Planet Hollywood oct 11th-16th. This is our first time in Vegas.....?
Go see Bodies. Hover dam is kick ***. Do plain anything. On the strip you can buy same day show tickets at half price. I live in Vegas I know. Just bring a great pair of walking shoes.
Believe me your going to just run into fun things to do! First would be checking out as many hotels as you can as it is just fun walking about being woooow by all the huge casinos.. Ask the front desk for hotel coupons and there is usually a book in your room called whats up las vegas and it has shows with times, restaurants in the city that are good etc.. If you have time there is a steakhouse inside the circus circus hotel called the steakhouse. Its one of the best on the strip and you can dress with jeans and and a shirt, other you have to get totally dressed up.. And dont forget the best part is gamble if you can..Hello All!! Titanic is presently at the Tropicana-I saw it this past Wednesday

( personally I feel it was a waste of time and $

and was better at my local Art Institute)

there are tons of fast food places on the strip

you can buy 1/2 tickets on the strip near the Hawaiian Village across the street from where the multi million $$$$$$ condo's that are being built next to the Ballagio
