Vegas Hotels. Should I stay at MGM Grand, Caesars Palace, or Planet Hollywood?

Me %26amp; my boyfriend are going to Vegas this summer, but which one of these should we stay at? Here's a little about us. We're both 25, I want to do some shopping of course, we want to party, casino, not be to far from everything, on strip of course, we decided not to rent a car which is why we don't want to be TOO far from everything, but a slight distance is fine. Good dining, nice entertainment, etc. What do u think?Vegas Hotels. Should I stay at MGM Grand, Caesars Palace, or Planet Hollywood?
Caesars Palace is the nicest of the three properties... but the cheapest room (the room you get if you don't request anything specific) at Caesars is probably not nearly as nice as the cheapest room at Planet Hollywood, which is all brand new (it was all remodeled after changing over from being the Aladdin.) I rate MGM as #3 on your list.

Caesars has about 200 shops in their Forum Shops mall and is not too far of a walk to another 200 shops in Fashion Show Mall (you walk past the Mirage, then Treasure Island; then the mall is next.)

Planet Hollywood has 170 shops in their Miracle Mile.

Caesars is upscale and "old school" while PH is like a futuristic science fiction party. The atmospheres are almost polar opposites. So if you like luxurious surroundings and the ancient Roman theme, and being near 2 huge malls, pick Caesars. If you prefer the newness of a just remodeled property and a modern interior design, pick PH.

And don't go for the least expensive room at either property unless your budget forces you to. Your vacation memories will last a lifetime. Staying in a cheap room is like eating at McDonalds, only worse because it lasts longer. Go to each hotel's web site and click on "accomodations", they each have 5 or 6 different types of rooms.Vegas Hotels. Should I stay at MGM Grand, Caesars Palace, or Planet Hollywood?
I would choose Caesars - it is one my favorite resorts, and is right in the middle of the strip. There are lots of attractions, restaurants, clubs, and great shops within easy walking distance. You can also pretty easily walk to most other locations on the strip. The rooms at Caesars are really nice, and the pool area there is great too. You can't go wrong with Caesars.

MGM and Planet Hollywood are both nice, fun places. But they are located toward the south end of the strip. There is a lot to do in that area, but it's not as convenient to everything else on the strip. You can always take the monorail or bus if you choose to stay there though.
All three of those are a good choice. Caesars is right in the middle of the strip but is the most expensive of the three you chose. Planet Hollywood caters to a younger crowd which might be a good choice for you but the pool area isn't that great. MGM has the better pool area but it is always packed with so many guests. Caesars looks like the best choice for you.Vegas Hotels. Should I stay at MGM Grand, Caesars Palace, or Planet Hollywood?
Pick the one with the best room deal because you won't spend that much time in the room. All are great hotel casinos. MGM is on corner with Tropicana, NYNY, Monte Carlo, Luxor, Excalibur and Mandalay Bay. Planet Hollywood is not on a corner. Caesars Palace is on the corner with Bellagio, Ballys, Bills, Flamingo, and paris.
PH!

Young crowd, good location, shopping, clubs, places to eat.

MGM is too...Grand. Caesar's hasn't ben updated in a while. PH was updated in Nov. 2008 and is home to the Miss America pageant. Enjoy!Vegas Hotels. Should I stay at MGM Grand, Caesars Palace, or Planet Hollywood?
They're all good hotels, PH caters for your age group and is pretty well located, Caesars has the best location in the middle of the Strip and MGM Grand is massive with a great pool area but quite far South on the strip
All these hotels are fine but in summer I would choose MGM Grand because of the great pool areas. I would also check the current hotel promotions for these hotels on http://www.vegas-hotels-online.com in order to get the best price.
