Why isn't there a Planet Hollywood in Hollywood, CA, USA??

I was looking up the restaurant cuz I forgot about that place for awhile since I haven't been to places that have it for awhile...i looked it up and theres not that many restaurants...only in the best places in the world like london, paris, dubai, hawaii, etc...we need one in california!! in hollywood!! or at least at downtown disney in anaheim...anyone know why there isn't one in cali??Why isn't there a Planet Hollywood in Hollywood, CA, USA??
There isn't one in California specifically for the reason that Hollywood is in California. Company owners wanted to display what Hollywood was all about around the world. Why build a "Hollywood" in Hollywood?Why isn't there a Planet Hollywood in Hollywood, CA, USA??
Planet Hollywood went bankrupt a few years ago. Many/most of their locations were closed. Tow that I think are still open is in Orlando (their downtown Disney) and in Las Vegas. There was never a Planet Hollywood in Hollywood, the closest was in Beverly Hills. Many of the heavily themed restaurants have done poorly in the past 5 years. The theme was nice for tourists but the menu was unimpressive (which didn't attract local and regular clientele). Hard Rock Cafe and Rainforest Cafe were having problems but have since improved somewhat.
Wow! I had not noticed this but it does make sense. I live in Vegas and we have a large hotel/casino her and I am from LA so tomorrow I will go and check it out. I did not know that there was no Planet Hollywood in CA. but it all makes sense now.Why isn't there a Planet Hollywood in Hollywood, CA, USA??
there was one in costa mesa ca, but they took it off, i remember there being one in hollywood like by universal studios but i dont know if its still there
