How much money should we take to las vegas?

3 days 4 nights at the new planet hollywood. Were are not big gamblers but we are 25 and 26 years old. *we already have the room paid for. Just need to know how much fun, food, shopping money. How much money should we take to las vegas?
Well from past experiences, I'd say about 800$ more or less just in case. You would like to eat, shop, have fun, and relax. With that much you will be able to get through the vacation and also enjoy yourself, depending upon where you plan to eat, shop and gamble. It all depends on you. Hope you have a nice, relaxing, safe trip :)How much money should we take to las vegas?
A few hundred each should be enough. There are a lot of cheap places to eat in Vegas, and lots of kitschy souvenir shops with cheap gifts. (Also lots of upscale shops, too, so it depends on where your tastes are!). A lot of times you can drink for free if you're gambling-- you just have to tip. If you go that route, set a limit beforehand on how much you want to spend gambling. It doesn't have to be a lot-- even the penny and nickel slots are fun! (If you decide to gamble a little)
unless you are ballers, plan 100 $a person a day. if you are not big gamblers. this should get you a meager breakfeast and lunch with a decent dinner with a little extra for gambling and misc. How much money should we take to las vegas?
$1000 just because of the way prices are going up and for the gas prices but that is my approxiamtion me and my family bring and we are a family of 4
A few hundred dollars would be good. I wouldn't spend all of it depending on the luck, But maybe 100 to 150 would be good. How much money should we take to las vegas?
take all your money. the state of nevada is having a budget crisis and we need retards to come throw all their money at us in the casinos
1 to 2 thousand
thats what every one thinks, but all to soon you need your car title and home deed to get that really good winning hand or make that slot machine pay off big time
This entirely depends on what you want to do. Las Vegas has gambling from penny slots to $500 slots. Places to eat from Taco Bell to Wolfgang Puck's Spago. You can just walk around and sight see for free, take the bus, take the Monorail, take a taxi or limousine to get around.

So, you can get by very cheaply or the sky is the limit. If you intend to see any of the top shows, purchase your tickets before you go. They are almost impossible to get once you are in Las Vegas. There is a place called Tickets2nite located near the Big Coke Bottle on the South Eastern part of the Strip. It sells same day tickets for half price but mostly to the regular shows, not the big ones.

Eat breakfast at the buffet next door to you at Paris and you will not have to eat again until dinner. The Buffet in Planet Hollywood is good for dinner as well.

You certainly do not want to waste money but be willing to enjoy yourselves, too. What we usually do when we go is budget to see one major show, have one dinner in a top restaurant (usually the last full evening) and take it easy on the spending the rest of the time.

Be advised, there is a lot of shopping opportunity. My wife always spends too much.
